<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braided yarn that is suitable for a fishing line having a high thick-thin ratio and is partially thickened in printing. <P>SOLUTION: The braided yarn includes a braided weave and a core yarn. The braided weave is obtained by braiding a plurality of filaments and comprises the core yarn in the inside of a part of the braided weave. The braided yarn comprises a thin part, a tapered part and a thick part. The thick part or the thin part comprises a part of the braided weave having the core yarn in the inside and the braided weave is constituted of a plurality of sets of filaments in which one set consists of two filaments. In the tapered part, preferably one filament of one set of filaments is successively cut one by one, the number of the filaments is reduced so that the diameter of the braided weave is lessened in the length direction, and the cut part is incorporated into the braided weave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
