<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device with the limited differential function, which is conveniently assembled and maintained. <P>SOLUTION: The differential device includes a drive board 12 in a casing, a junction board 13, a transmission device 15 and a plurality of differential gear sets 14, and a fluid is poured into this casing. A plural pairs of communication holes 122 communicating are formed to the drive board 12. Differential gears 141, 142 corresponding to the differential gear sets 14 are accommodated in gearing condition. These differential gears are oriented in different directions and fixed to the transmission device 15. When the above component rotates synchronously, these differential gear sets rotate, and are alternately immersed in the fluid, and the fluid is driven to flow in the gap of these differential gear end faces. Thus, in addition to the differential function, the differential restriction function is obtained as described as follows: when the rotating speed difference between right-and-left axles of a traffic tool exceeds a predetermined value, at least one differential gear set generates very big back pressure to inhibit the fluid from passing through the gap between the differential gears so that the expansion of the rotating speed difference of the transmission device is restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
