PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange an artificial molar tooth at an appropriate position depending on the oral cavity environment of each patient without requiring advanced techniques or experiences. Ž
SOLUTION: In the artificial molar teeth arranged on the bases 33 and 34 mounted in the oral cavity as dental prosthetic appliance, the occlusal surfaces of molar teeth 1, 2, 5 and 6 are provided with side grooves 29-32 extending toward a buccal side or lingual side, and intersecting portions (top parts 29a-32a) of the side grooves 29-32 with the outer circumference of the occlusal surfaces and a contact point 35 are formed on a plane parallel to a mesiodistal direction. Alternatively, the bottom ends of fossae 25 and 27 on the occlusal surfaces and the contact points 35 of the molar teeth 1, 2, 5 and 6 are formed on the plane parallel to the mesiodistal direction. Alternatively, mutually parallel flat frictional contact portions 9-12 are provided around cusps 13A, 13B to 16, 17A, 17B to 20 mutually coming into contact with maxillary molar teeth 1 and 2 and mandibular molar teeth 5 and 6, respectively.
