The lamp (1) has a semiconductor laser element (2) which is designed to emit a primary radiation (P) with a wavelength between 200 nanometer and 500 nanometer. A conversion unit (3) is provided which converts the primary radiation into a secondary radiation (S) with a longer wavelength than that of the primary radiation. The conversion unit is indirectly attached to a support. A reflecting unit (5) reflects a part of the primary radiation and stays in direct contact with the conversion unit.
