PURPOSE: A subsurface topography confirmation system is provided to find an underwater detector although the connection of the discovery ship and underwater detector is cut, by mounting a lifting device and signal device on the underwater detector. CONSTITUTION: A subsurface topography confirmation system comprises an underwater detector(100) and a detecting device(200). The underwater detector comprises a detector body, a lifting device, a signal device, a water pressure sensor(170), a control unit(180), a distance measurement unit(130), a positioning device(140) and a transmission unit(150). The detector body is streamlined shape in order to move under the water. The lifting device is built-in in the detector body. The detecting device is composed of a discovery ship, a drive unit, a lifting facility, a receiver(240), a controller(250), and an output unit(260). A supporting body is vertically mounted on the ship body to rotate. The horizontal object is installed on the supporting body in the horizontal direction. The discovery ship comprises a guide body installed at the supporting body.
