PURPOSE: A direct type backlight module and a diffuse sheet are provided to reduce pass of an optical ray and diffuse light uniformly through a light transmitting substrate using a light transmitting fabric. CONSTITUTION: A light penetration fabric(506) is attached to the lower part of a light projecting board to reduce the penetration of the light ray. A light penetration fabric controls a density between chambers according to a location of a cool cathode(502). The density of a part corresponding to the upper of the cold cathode ray tube is highest. The density of the middle position of two cool cathode ray tubes is lowest.
