A control method for a hybrid energy storage apparatus is provided to perform energy balancing by using a relay for power supply and a control logic. A supper capacitor(12) measures a current and a voltage, and a battery(11) measure a current and voltage, and then the current of HEP is calculated. The internal resistance of the super capacitor is measured, and the internal resistance of battery is measured, and then the internal resistance difference between the battery and the super capacitor are compared with a reference resistor. If the internal resistance difference is lower than the reference resistance, relays(13,14) control the supper capacitor and a battery selectively in case of charge and discharge of HEP. If the internal resistance difference is higher than the reference resistance, the relay performs energy balancing. |
