FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed bolster lifting device comprises jack with its rod pivoted to gripper furnished with a hook that can interact with the truck side frame upper surface and face chamber in bolster. Proposed device incorporates two friction-material clips and second hook. Gripper represents a square frame with two crossarms furnished with pivot-joint pins, hinged of said joint being jointed to two cross pieces whereto said hooks are pivoted ar a distance that corresponds to position of the bolster chamber end face. Aforesaid clips are pivoted to one crossarm and aforesaid rod is hinged to another crossarm. ^ EFFECT: higher safety, simplified design and ease of manufacture. ^ 2 dwg
