PURPOSE: A network interface information providing device in stream control transmission protocol and a method thereof are provided to a network interface in which an error is generated. CONSTITUTION: An address management unit(203) establishes a ranking number of addresses connected to an object node. The address management unit confirms connection states of the addresses. The address management unit generates an SCTP packet including information showing connection states of the confirmed addresses. A control unit(201) transmits the SCTP packet generated by the address management unit to the object node.
