FIELD: physics; image processing. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices which limit appearance of detected false images arising when using a gamma camera with a coding mask, used in places where gamma-ray sources are located. The invention is a device which limits appearance of detected false images for a gamma camera with a coding mask (1), which has a gamma-ray detector (3) lying opposite the coding mask and having a field of view which includes the partial coding area (20) of the coding mask. The device has a concealed part (30) which is not transparent to gamma-rays and lies opposite the detector (3) relative the coding mask (1).
