METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PURIFING DRAINAGE OF A METAL MINE USING THE SLUDGE OF A COAL MINE

PURPOSE: A method for purifying metal mine drainage using coal mine sludge and an apparatus using thereof is provided to purify the metal mine drainage without inserting a neutralizer. CONSTITUTION: A method for purifying metal mine drainage using coal mine sludge comprises the following steps: manufacturing sludge powder by reacting coal mine drainage in a neutralization reaction tank with the Ca(OH)2 and calcium hydroxide, and by pulverizing the obtained coal mine sludge from the reacting process using a solid-liquid separation at a first settling tank(S10); attaching a metal material of the metal mine drainage to the coal mine sludge powder through making a slurry with the coal mine sludge powder and the metal mine drainage in a reaction tank(S20); separating the slurry produced from the attachment process into a solid-liquid state in a second settling tank(S30); and filtering the separated liquid with a sand filter(S40).
