PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to prevent an afterimage on the screen by supplying black data to pixels where the same image signal is inputted for a plurality of frames. CONSTITUTION: A display device and a driving method include a pixel, a comparison unit(610), a signal converter(620), and a data driver. The pixel includes a plurality of emitting devices respectively therein. The comparison unit compares an input image signals to each pixel for a plurality of consecutive frames and decides whether the input image signals are same. The signal converter converts the input image signal into a correction image signal when the input image signals are same. The data driver generates data signal corresponding to the correction image signal to the pixel.
