PURPOSE: A head up display system and a method for adjusting a video display angle thereof are provided to enable a user to view video image projected by a head up display system clearly by changing a video display angle by rotating a mirror even when a physical condition of a driver is particular. CONSTITUTION: An eye detector(62) detects an eye position of a driver when a video adjustment mode of a headup display is set. A MICOM(microcomputer)(54) adjusts variably a video display angle according to the eye position of the operator which is detected.
