METHOD FOR LOCATION ESTIMATING OF FINGER TIP

PURPOSE: A method for estimating a location of a finger tip is provided to set a prediction range of a finger tip, thereby correcting a location of the finger tip. CONSTITUTION: A skin color region is detected using a normalized RGB color model. An area of a real hand is made using a blob coloring algorithm of a blob function. An angle of a finger tip is measured through a single camera(S32). It is determined whether the location of the measured finger tip exists within 0 to 89 degrees(S34). When the location of the finger tip exists within 0 to 89 degrees, the finger tip is located at 45 degrees(S36). The finger tip is extracted by a top point.
