PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and an A/D conversion device reducing noise by a digital signal in an A/D conversion part. SOLUTION: An input section 31 is provided with four A/D converters 311-314 and a gray code conversion section 315, an analog NMR signal corresponding to each channel is inputted to each A/D converter 311-314, and the gray code conversion section 315 converts a digital signal outputted from the A/D converters 311-315 and represented in binary code into a digital signal represented in the gray code. The gray code-converted digital signal is transferred to the output section 33 through a digital signal bus 32, the gray code digital signal is returned to the binary digital signal by a gray code inverse conversion section 331, and then the output part 33 transmits the binary signal outputted from the gray code inverse conversion section 331 to a signal processing section 2.
