PURPOSE: A switch box for a photovoltaic module is provided to secure connection reliability and stability by increasing a contact area between a terminal plate and a diode for preventing a counter current. CONSTITUTION: A switch box for a photovoltaic module includes a box body(1), a terminal plate(10), a diode for preventing a counter current, and a cover. The upper side of the box body is opened. The terminal plate is mounted on the box body and is contacted with an anode and a cathode of a solar cell module. The cover seals the upper side of the box body and includes a plurality of penetration holes. A selectively transmissive layer is attached to the inner side of the cover.
