PURPOSE: A seal ring for automatic transmission is provided to prevent the loss of a working fluid by collecting the working liquid into a loss preventing recess. CONSTITUTION: In a seal ring for automatic transmission, a main body is installed in a friction part and prevents the loss of working fluid. A cut section(52) is formed by cutting a part of a main body. A groove is extended from the cut section along a shape of the friction region.
