<p>A simply configured disc brake and an actuator for the disc brake. A rotation stop mechanism (130) is provided between a push rod (122) and a fixed ramp member (65) of a ball-ramp mechanism (62). The rotation stop mechanism (130) permits linear motion of the push rod (122) while restricting relative rotation between the push rod (122) and the fixed ramp member (65) by causing the push rod (122) and the fixed ramp member (65) to be in contact with each other in the direction of rotation of a movable ramp member (67) of the ball-ramp mechanism (62).</p> |
