EVACUATION ASSISTANCE SYSTEM

Disclosed is an evacuation assistance system that can make the elevators in a building available as evacuation means in the event of a fire, and can provide the evacuation status of infirm persons and the evacuation status of building occupants using the elevators to emergency personnel before said emergency personnel reach said building, thereby vastly ameliorating the burden required for rescue at the fire site. In order to accomplish this, evacuation detection equipment is installed in rooms in the building for emergency personnel at a fire center to check for people who have taken cover in the rooms inside the building. And when a fire is detected by fire detectors, the elevators in the building are made available for evacuation of building occupants, and furthermore, the input status of the evacuation detection equipment and the evacuation operating status of the elevators are transmitted to an external computer environment.
