A method and equipment for copying the multicast message are provided. The method includes the steps of: receiving and storing a plurality of message information of the multicast; obtaining and storing the MGID, MLID and TP information of a plurality of message information; adding identifiers to a plurality of MGIDs; searching the corresponding MLID and TP information according to a plurality of MGIDs and adding the corresponding identifiers; searching the corresponding message information according to the identifier of the MLID; copying the searched message information; sending the MLID with the corresponding identifier and the corresponding message information to the address indicated by the TP information according to the identifier of the TP information. In the embodiment of the invention, by using the way of adding identifiers during the copying process of the multicast messages, the order of the copied message will not be broken.
