PAPER HUMIDIFYING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper humidifying device which can uniformly apply water to paper and does not damage equipment, and an image forming system including the paper humidifying device.

SOLUTION: The paper humidifying device includes: a humidification part to apply water to the paper; a water supply part to apply the water to the humidification part: a reservoir to store the water supplied to the water supply part; a water supply path to supply the water from the reservoir to the water supply part; a water discharge path to discharge the water from the water supply part to the reservoir; and a filter tank arranged on the reservoir side of the water discharge path wherein a boundary with the water in the reservoir is formed. The paper humidifying device includes an in-filter water level detection part to detect a water level in the filter tank.
