<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic power generation element having high conversion efficiency from light to electricity. <P>SOLUTION: An organic power generation element includes a power generation layer 4 formed by mixing an electron-donative semiconductor and a hole-donative semiconductor, between electrodes 2 and 6 at least one of which is transparent to external light.
