GAME DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly amusing game device allowing a player to change the progress status of a game according to the position where sounds are output by the player; and to provide a control method for the same.

SOLUTION: The game device includes: a display means 60 for displaying a game image according to the progress status of a prescribed game in a display area 61; positional information detecting means 10 and 50 for detecting the positional information on the position where the sounds are output by the player; a correlation means 50 for correlating the position where the sounds are output by the player with the display position in the game image in the display area approximately facing the position where the sounds are output by the player, based on the positional information detected by the positional information detecting means; and a display control means 50 for the control to change the game image at the display position correlated with the position where the sounds are output by the player by the correlation means.
