PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome the problem that a map information processing apparatus in the prior art cannot present appropriate information in consideration of user's operation. SOLUTION: Appropriate information can be presented by a map information processing apparatus which includes: a map information storage section capable of storing multiple pieces of map information; a receiving section receiving map output instructions and a map browsing operation sequence; a map output section reading map information to output a map when it receives the map output instructions; an operation information sequence acquisition section acquiring the operation information sequence which is the information of one or more operations corresponding to the received map browsing operation sequence; a display attribute determination section which selects, when the operation information sequence matches object selection conditions under which predetermined objects are selected, one or more objects and determines the display attribute of the one or more objects; and a map output changing section which acquires map information in accordance with the map browsing operation and outputs, in accordance with the display attribute of the one or more objects determined by the display attribute determination section, map information having one or more objects.
