PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad which is soft at a seat surface and front surface, and has an excellent appearance when an upholstery material is put on. SOLUTION: Many recessed holes 7 are provided in the front surface 3 and thigh corresponding portion 2 of the seat pad 1, and thus it is made easy to compress and deform the front surface 3 and thigh corresponding portion 2 of the seat pad 1. Thus, the seat pad has a soft touch when an occupant hits them. Since the recessed holes 7 are not provided on a corner edge part 4 where the thigh corresponding portion 2 and the front surface 3 cross, the recessed holes 7 are not surfaced when an upholstery material is put on.
