<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of electronic device enabling a user to operate a plurality of electronic devices different in operation method using one unified method, only by means of utilizing the remote control function and video output function with which the electronic devices, such as an image recording apparatus, are provided on the standard scale. <P>SOLUTION: The control unit of electronic device includes: a control information storing means for storing GUI information and remote control code information on every electronic device; an operation information inputting storage means for causing operation information on a desired operation requested by a user to the electronic device to be input by a GUI function which the control unit has, and to be stored; an image recognition means for recognizing a GUI screen to be input; a remote control signal-transmitting means for transmitting a remote control signal corresponding to operation of changing the GUI screen and the like; and a control means, based on operation information, which performs sequentially GUI processing using the GUI function of the electronic device, and makes the electronic device perform a desired operation using the remote control signal-transmitting means and the image recognition means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
