<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust structure of an internal combustion engine allowing easy processing and simple installation, and exerting a desired heat insulating effect. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust structure of the internal combustion engine comprises a double tube structure equipped with a liner 24 in an exhaust manifold 16. The liner 24 is made up of a C-form cross-section having a slit 40 extending in the longitudinal direction, and has an influx side opening 42 to admit flowing-in of the exhaust gas and an outflow side opening 44 to admit flowing-out of the exhaust gas toward the downstream, and the exhaust manifold 16 is furnished with a body 16a(b) of exhaust manifold, an exhaust gas flow-through part 22 formed inside the body 16a(b) and admitting flowing-through of the exhaust gas, and a cooling water passage 26 to admit flowing through of the cooling water, wherein the openings 42 and 44 are furnished in swell-out form with respective bead parts 46 abutting to the internal wall surface of the exhaust manifold 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
