CHARGING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IDENTIFYING PACKET TO BE CHARGED BY SIP SERVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for and a system for charging for identifying a packet to be charged for packet measured rate charging with relatively low throughput.

SOLUTION: A terminal 2 is an SIP-compliant terminal, and a system further includes an SIP server 1. The SIP-compliant terminal 2 transmits a call connection request including a user identifier/terminal-side address/server-side address to the SIP server 1 before establishment of data connection with an information server 3. The SIP server 1 transmits the user identifier/terminal-side address/server-side address included in a call connection request to a charging server 4 as an object to be charged. The SIP-compliant terminal 2 uses the server-side address to establish data connection to the information server 3. The charging server 4 identifies the packet to be charged including the terminal- and server-side addresses to control charging information in the user identifier.
