<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mahjong ball game machine in which a player well-versed in mahjong or a mahjong ball game as well as even a player having scarce knowledge of mahjong and a player having a measure of knowledge of the mahjong can comfortably enjoy a mahjong ball game. Ž<P>SOLUTION: If a discard tile determination means, which determines the symbol of a tile to be discarded from hand tile data before the player performs discard tile operation, determines that the discard tile operation is not performed within predetermined time since the symbol of the tile to be discarded is displayed on the first display device, the tile to be discarded is sound-outputted from a loudspeaker which at least outputs an effect sound in connection with the progress of the game. If a draw determination means, which determines the symbol of a draw tile to be added to this hand tile before the player performs draw tile operation, determines that the draw tile operation is not performed within predetermined time since the symbol of the tile to be drawn is displayed on the first display device, the tile to be drawn is sound-outputted from the loudspeaker.
