<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial in which a halftone dot print body installed behind a texture plate for improving illumination unevenness will not be imprinted inside a lit indicator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the dial 7 including the texture plate 31 having a design part 5 formed of a light transmitting material, a light shielding design frame 37, formed by printing on the back surface of the texture plate 31 so as to cover the periphery of the design part 5, and the half-tone dot print body 41 disposed behind the texture plate 31 for improving the illumination unevenness of the design part 5, wherein the design part 5 is lit at the front surface side of the texture plate 31 by light irradiation from the back of the halftone dot print body 41, the half-tone dot print body 41 is prevented from reflecting on the lit indicators 3, 4, by arranging a light diffusion plate diffusing incident light on the back surface side of the texture plate 31 and by forming the halftone dot print body 41 of the back surface of the light diffusion plate, and the appearance is improved.
