<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a mobile terminal which prevents the displacement of a casing in the direction of side that occurs when fitting and fixing a pair of folding type casings to a hinge, and to provide a manufacturing jig therefor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A key casing 10 and a hinge 50 of a mobile terminal 100 are fastened loosely and temporarily by screws 18, and the key casing 10 and a display casing 30 are attached to a jig 200 at an opening and closing angle of θ where no catching force in the direction of closing the hinge 50 is developed. First attaching part 71 and second attaching part 73 of the jig 200 for attaching both casings are designed to be provided with sidewalls 72 and 74 that are positioned at the original positions of the sides 14 and 34 of both casings. While the casings are totally closed, friction is developed due to catching force between the key casing 10 and the hinge 50, thereby blocking alignment. However, no friction force is developed at the angle of θ, so that the key casing and the hinge can be accurately aligned as they are by attaching the mobile terminal 100 to the jig 200.
