PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition, having excellent mechanical strength, molding cyclability and surface appearance, being suitable for a component of a portable electronic device and a casing component of a personal computer. SOLUTION: The glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition comprises 50-150 pts.mass of a glass fiber blended in 100 pts.mass of a polyamide resin composition including 90-99 mass% of a polyamide resin and 1-10 mass% of an acid-modified styrene-based elastomer, wherein the polyamide resin includes a crystalline polyamide resin and an amorphous polyamide resin in a mass ratio [crystalline polyamide resin/amorphous polyamide resin] of 80/20 to 100/0, and wherein the crystalline polyamide resin contains a polyamide 6 and polyamide 12 containing a swellable layered silicate.
