<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent warping deformation of a terminal fitting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The terminal fitting 10 has: a connecting portion 11 to be connected with a mating connecting portion; a wire barrel 12 located at a back of the connection portion 11 to be crimped into connection with a core wire 91 exposed at an end of an electric wire 90; an insulation barrel 13 located at a back of the wire barrel 12 to be crimped into connection with an insulating coating of the wire 90; and a base plate portion part 15 extending in the longitudinal direction while including the connection portion 11, the wire barrel 12 and the insulation barrel 13 to support the wire 90. A portion between the wire barrel 12 and the connection portion 11 in the base plate portion part 15 is a neck part 24. In the base plate portion part 15, a reinforcing rib 25 extending continuously in forward and backward directions from the neck part 24 toward the insulation barrel 13 is formed.
