摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine the misfire of a multiple cylinder internal combustion engine of which output shaft is connected to a rear stage shaft in a rear stage through a torsional element. <P>SOLUTION: A misfire determination device calculates an influence component Nde(CA) (S210-S240) by using damper rear stage rotation speed Nd(CA) at a rear stage of a damper calculated from motor rotation speeds Nm1(CA), Nm2(CA), and engine rotation speed Ne(CA), sets engine rotation speed Ne as execution rotation speed Nj(CA) (S270) if engine rotation speed Ne is less than a prescribed rotation speed Nref and fuel injection to an engine is not executed, and sets a rotation speed obtained by subtracting the influence component Nde from engine rotation speed Ne as an execution rotation speed Nj(CA) if the engine rotation speed Ne is not less than the prescribed rotation speed Nref or fuel injection to the engine is executed.
