<p>Disclosed is a set of anti-vasohibin monoclonal antibodies, which is at least one member selected from the group consisting of a set with a monoclonal antibody (MA) capable of recognizing the sequence lying between amino acid (aa)-132 to aa-145 in the amino acid sequence depicted in SEQ ID NO:2 and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-351 to aa-365 in the amino acid sequence, a set with a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-217 to aa-229 in the amino acid sequence and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-351 to aa-365 in the amino acid sequence, a set with a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-1 to aa-76 in the amino acid sequence and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-132 to aa-145 in the amino acid sequence, a set with a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-77 to aa-318 in the amino acid sequence and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-1 to aa-76 in the amino acid sequence, a set with a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-77 to aa-318 in the amino acid sequence and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-319 to aa-365 in the amino acid sequence, and a set with a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-3 to aa-15 in the amino acid sequence and a MA capable of recognizing the sequence lying between aa-351 to aa-365 in the amino acid sequence. The set of anti-vasohibin monoclonal antibodies can detect vasohibin in vivo with good sensitivity and good specificity, and therefore can be used suitably in the monitoring of tumor angiogenesis or the like.</p> |
