The vehicle (1) has a folding top (3) i.e. hard top folding top, laid in a folding top storage space, and a folding top box cover (7). The cover is movable between a position partially defining the space and a position partially supporting the space. The cover is arranged in a vehicle vertical direction above a rear cover (9) that is arranged in a rear-sided area of the box cover such that the box cover is movable between the positions exclusively in a translatory motion. A guiding device formed as a sliding guide is provided with a guide rail for shifting the cover between the positions.
