PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily confirm a photographed image, immediately after photographing. SOLUTION: As illustrated in Fig 2, a camera comprises: an imaging means 6 for capturing a subject image and outputting an image signal; an instruction member 3 instructing image capturing; an image generating means 7, which uses the image signal outputted from the imaging means 6, when image capturing is instructed by the instruction member 3, to generate a temporary display image to be temporarily displayed on a display 14, immediately after imaging; and a display control means 7, which uses an image signal corresponding to a predetermined region in the temporary display image, among image signals, generates an enlarged image and displays the enlarged image on the display 14.
