PURPOSE: A gear ratio-variable steering system is provided to improve control stability in the high speed motion of a vehicle by forming a small circumferential pitch portion at center of a rack bar. CONSTITUTION: A gear ratio-variable steering system comprises a steering driven gear(11) for a left wheel, a steering driven gear(12) for a right wheel, and two steering drive gears(13a,13b). The steering driven gears for the left wheel and the right wheel separately steers a left wheel and a right wheel of a vehicle. The steering drive gears are respectively engaged with the steering driven gear for the left wheel and the steering driven gear for the right wheel. The steering drive gear is connected to the steering wheel.
