<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of confirming visually connection states of connecting parts from an outside, when electrically connecting a plurality of communication cables. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This connector is provided with a body 2 formed of an insulating material, the first terminal 3 provided in the body 2, and connectable electrically to a terminal 14 of a plug 12 of one 10a of the communication cables, the second terminal 4 connected electrically to the first terminal 3, and connectable electrically to a terminal 14 of a plug 12 of the other communication cable 10b, and a fixing means 7 for fixing the plug 12 of the communication cable 10a and the plug 12 of the other communication cable 10b onto the body 2. The body 2 is formed of a raw material capable of viewing perspectively the connecting parts from the outside, as to the connecting part between the terminal 14 of the plug 12 of the at least one communication cable 10a and the first terminal 3, and the connecting part between the terminal 14 of the plug 12 of the other communication cable 10b and the second terminal 4.
