<p>PURPOSE: A cutting insert and a milling cutter with the same are provided to mount concavo-convex patterns of a main cutting edge to be crossed in order to have effect of two different cutting inserts. CONSTITUTION: A cutting insert comprises a front surface(11), a back surface(12), an upper surface(13), a lower surface(14), a left surface(15) and a right surface(16). The cutting insert has a joint hole which passes through the front surface and the rear surface. A main cutting edge is formed on the longitudinal border of the front surface. The main cutting edge has a concavo-convex shape. The cutting insert comprises a main cutting edge which is located on the longitudinal border of the back surface.</p> |
