<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand which is light, and can be easily folded, stored and carried, and by which a user can read a book in any postures such as the postures of sitting straight, lying down and lying down on his/her back by one reading stand. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reading stand is light in weight as 900g, and can be folded and carried. By using the front surface and back surface of a reading stand table, and using it spreading a book on the table or using it turning down the book on the table, reading is performed by one reading stand in the postures of sitting straight, lying down on his/her side, lying down on his/her back, or the like.
