TIMING CONTROLLER AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A timing controller and a display device having the same are provided to improve the delay of image data by simplifying a logic. CONSTITUTION: A timing controller and a display device having the same includes a counter(110), a memory(120), a comparator(140), and a pulse generator(150). The counter receives an enable signal having a plurality of pulses defined as an effective interval and a blank interval and counts the width of each pulse. The memory successively stores the counting value of each pulse. The comparator subtracts a predetermined reference value from a counting value of a previous pulse and outputs comparison value.
