METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETECTING DISTANCE BETWEEN NODES IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

PURPOSE: A distance detection system between nodes in a wireless sensor network for inserting a recorded packet transmission into packet is provided to accurately recognize the location of each node in a sensor field by accurately detecting the distance between two nodes. CONSTITUTION: A sensor node comprises a sensing unit(310), a controller(320), a communications unit(330), a power supply unit, and distance detective unit. The sensing part senses the various event. The controller controls the whole operation of the sensor node. The packet transmission time measuring unit measures the packet transmission time of the communications unit. The distance detective part detects distance with the sensor node with the packet transmission time of the other sensor node and packet receiver time of the packet transmission time measuring unit.
