The present invention relates to the structure of an adapter for a hand-held applicator for foam cylinders, in particular for polyurethane foam cylinders used in construction that would enable the use of the foam cylinders meant for applicator guns with the hand-held applicators as well. For this purpose the adapter (9, 19) for mounting the hand-held applicator on a valve nozzle (3) of the foam cylinder is used, characterised in that the adapter has a cavity (12, 24), located in the lower part of said adapter, for placing the valve nozzle (3) end part, a conical pipe (13, 25) for mounting in a duct of the valve nozzle (3) and a duct (11, 23) for the foam pass, and the lower end of the adapter (9, 19) has grappling devices (14, 26, 28) extending from the internal wall of the adapter towards the pipe (13, 25), whereas the cone of the pipe (13, 25) decreases in diameter from the bottom of the cavity (12, 24) towards the end of the pipe (13, 25). |
