PURPOSE:To realize on-hook origination without incurring large-sized radiotelephony set or short-service life of a battery by displaying visually the status of a wire line detected by a status detecting means to a radiotelephony set via a radio channel. CONSTITUTION:When on-hook origination is instructed by an input means A, a status detecting means B detects the state of a wire line from a signal incoming from an exchange after dialing. The result of detection of the means B is transmitted from a master equipment to a radiotelephony set via a radio channel by using a status transmitting means C and the state of the transmitted wired line side is displayed by using the status display means by means of a state display control means D. Thus, in applying on-hook origination, the visual display means of the radiotelephony set is used to recognize the status of the wire line, then the provision of a large sized speaker for wire line monitor and its driving circuit is not required for the radiotelephony set and the radiotelephony set is miniaturized and the battery life is prolonged. |
