The method involves coding data, at level of a sender, on a basic structural component e.g. phoneme or prosody, of a voice signal based on a look-up table. The voice signal is transmitted on a telecommunication network. The voice signal, at level of a receiver, is decoded by extracting the basic structural component and comparing the basic structural component with the look-up table, so as to retrieve the data.
