PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of using botulinus toxin in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of recalcitrant voiding dysfunction. SOLUTION: Botulinus toxin is used in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of neurological urological disease, especially recalcitrant voiding dysfunction, and in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the reduction of patient's bladder pressure, botulinus toxin type A is used. Further, the botulinus toxin type A is used in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for the increase of patient's bladder capacity. The composition is prescribed in a pharmaceutically permissible formulation suitable for its injection into patient's bladder neck.
