METHOD FOR PREDICTING PROGREDIENT COURSE OF REPEATED MILD CRANIOCEREBRAL TRAUMA BY LABORATORY EXAMINATION OF CYTOKINE PROFILE AND ANTI-/PROINFLAMMATORY CYTOKINE RATIO

A method for predicting progredient course of the repeated mild craniocerebral trauma by laboratory examination of cytokine profile and anti-/proinflammatory cytokine ratio is a method for the immunological assessment of the course of the repeated mild craniocerebral trauma. The ratio between two antagonistic populations of T-helpers (immune activating T-helpers of type 1 producing interferon gamma and immune suppressive T-helpers of type 2 producing interleukin-4 is studied in the patients. Such analysis is useful for detecting certain pathological processes in nervous system and for predicting progredient course of the repeated mild craniocerebral trauma.
