<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus for efficiently cooling an image forming section in the image forming apparatus with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: When a suction fan 92 is rotated and driven, air is taken from the first intake port 72 into the image forming apparatus 10. The taken air flows to a first air chamber 82 formed of a first inner wall 80 and an outer wall 70C without passing an electric section 96. Air is blown from a blowout port 84 formed in the first inner wall 80 towards an image forming section or the like, is sucked from a suction port 90, and reaches a second air chamber 88. The suction port 90 is formed oppsitely to the blowout port 84, so that the air blowing from the blowout port 84 flows in parallel (constant direction) along the image forming section 16, a photoreceptor drum 34, a developer 38 and an exposure apparatus 36.
