<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detector for preventing a light from being entered from the outside as much as possible, and capable of enabling smoke to be effectively entered therein. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the smoke detector in which an optical smoke sensor is disposed within a labyrinth wall for preventing entrance of external light and for allowing entering of the smoke from the outside, the labyrinth wall configures a plurality of surrounding wall configuring bodies by parallelly arranging as a circular state within a predetermined circumference with a predetermined space therebetween. Each of the surrounding wall configuring bodies is formed by a first shield wall configuring piece which makes its cross section to be an approximately chevron shape by one side arranged along the predetermined periphery and the other side whose top side is disposed so as to face toward internal of the predetermined circumference, and a second shield wall configuring piece to be extended from inner top side of the first shield wall configuring piece, and for comprising a folded portion whose top portion is formed toward a top portion of the adjacent first shield wall configuring piece, wherein a smoke inlet is firmed between adjacent first shield wall configuring pieces.
